A only a 4"x12" section in the lower rear corner bottom of this part is usable. i have a 1988 f150. do yourself a favor and buy from a different vendor. i bought about 15 parts from them, none of them fit correctly. i will never use them again.

Q Does this rust repair panel require welding? answer now
Asked by Michael on February 7, 2022 2:37 pm
Answered by the admin It is recommended that these panels are welded in, however you can rivet or use adhesive to install. You should leave a 2" allowance on the repair if using an adhesive.
A Like any body patch-panel, the rusted area should be removed and this replacement welding to the vehicle. I'm not a professional by any means but if you are fixing this to be a daily driver and perfection isn't your end goal, then as said above, there are other ways to attach it, including panel adhesive. Thanks
