Rocker panels take a beating from the elements and road debris. They are some of the first body panels on your vehicle to start showing signs of wear, and will usually be one of the first panels to rust out. If you’re thinking “I’d rather fix my rust than buy a new vehicle”, you’ve come to the right place.

All of our rocker panels are constructed of heavy gauge stamped steel that meets or exceeds the thickness of the original body panel that it’s replacing. The stamping process starts with a 3D scan of an OEM part, which means that these aftermarket panels will be an exact match to the original part’s shape. Since the panels are an exact match, the old panel will need to be cut out so that the new one can be welded in its place. The exception to this is slip-on panels. Any panel labeled as “Slip-on” can be placed over top of the original panel, and secured with an adhesive like Silaprene, rivets, welded, etc.

We also carry a wide selection of inner rocker panels, cab corners, and floor pans. So whether you need to replace the driver side, passenger side, inner or outer rocker, we have the parts that you’re looking for.

Replace your rusted rocker panel by ordering this 1996-2007 Dodge Caravan Full Length Slip On Rocker Panel, Passenger’s Side from Raybuck Auto Body Parts today.

Answered by the admin It can be used for either. The part will need trimmed to fit. It is designed to go over the existing rockers. Usually the slip on panels are used to repair holes or smaller rusted areas. If the majority of the rocker is missing, you may need the full replacement rockers.

A I believe it is. I bought these for my 2005 T&C, which has the longer wheel base. The length was spot on. Hope this helps.

Answered by the admin This is a slip on panel , so you don't have to cut the old panel out. The 2" is a shipping dimension. 2" tall may be a better way to say it.

A As for the thickness, not sure but one mistake I made was not under coating the back side of the panel before it was installed. It has been on the van for 3 years now and a hole was coming through the 2nd year. That being said I would buy another one and do it again, but making sure the back side was treated.
