Rocker panels take a beating from the elements and road debris. They are some of the first body panels on your vehicle to start showing signs of wear, and will usually be one of the first panels to rust out. If you’re thinking ‘I’d rather fix my rust than buy a new vehicle”, you’ve come to the right place.

All of our rocker panels are constructed of heavy gauge stamped steel that meets or exceeds the thickness of the original body panel that it’s replacing. The stamping process starts with a 3D scan of an OEM part, which means that these aftermarket panels will be an exact match to the original part’s shape. Since the panels are an exact match, the old panel will need to be cut out so that the new one can be welded in its place. The exception to this is slip-on panels. Any panel labeled as “Slip-on” can be placed over top of the original panel, and secured with an adhesive like Silaprene, rivets, welded, etc.

We also carry a wide selection of inner rocker panels, cab corners, and floor pans. So whether you need to replace the driver side, passenger side, inner or outer rocker, we have the parts that you’re looking for.

Replace your rusted rocker panel by ordering this 1999-2006 Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra Rocker Bottom, Slip-On For 2-Door Or Ext Cab, Driver Side from Raybuck Auto Body Parts today.

Answered by the admin This slides over the rocker. We constantly ask for pictures of completed jobs and no one replies. Unfortunately manufacture doesn't supply a diagram either.

A I'd ask Raybuck - they sent this to me to answer generically. I put two of them on my regular cab truck. I had to cut them way down by almost 2 feet. The metal quality is really good and welded nicely. I've had one on for 3 years w/ no rust issues. I just put the other on last Fall. Seal/paint it well inside and out. I didn't bother welding it to the inside rocker so I can pull it down by hand and oil inside every year.
Answered by the admin Yes, they will work for the 4 door extended cab. If you have a 3rd door the drivers side will need cut down.
