Description

This slip-on rocker panel driver side fits 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra crew cab trucks as well as Suburban, Tahoe, Yukon, and Avalanche vehicles.

Rocker panels take a beating from the elements and road debris. They are some of the first body panels on your vehicle to start showing signs of wear, and will usually be one of the first panels to rust out. If you’re thinking “I’d rather fix my rust than buy a new vehicle”, you’ve come to the right place. Whether you’re looking for slip-on rocker panels for your 2001 Chevy Silverado to increase its resale value or for your 1999 Chevy Silverado daily driver to keep it on the road longer, we have the panels you need.

All of our rocker panels are constructed of heavy gauge stamped steel that meets or exceeds the thickness of the original body panel that it’s replacing. The stamping process starts with a 3D scan of an OEM part, which means that these aftermarket panels will be an exact match to the original part’s shape. Since the panels are an exact match, the old panel will need to be cut out so that the new one can be welded in its place. The exception to this is slip-on panels. Any panel labeled as “Slip-on” can be placed over top of the original panel, and secured with an adhesive, like Silaprene, rivets, welded, etc.

Each panel is also e-coated for additional corrosion protection. The e-coating leaves a black finish that can be scuffed and painted over.

Whether you need to replace the driver side, passenger side, or both, we have the parts that you’re looking for. Fix the rust on your rocker panels by ordering this slip-on style 1999-2006 Chevy and GMC crew cab rocker panel from Raybuck Auto Body Parts today.

    Questions and answers

With these rockers I know they say slip on . instead of just slipping them on with glue and whatnot can"t I just cut out the old rocker and fit this one in place of the cutout and weld ? or are these some kind of oversized piece that will not work that way ?

Answered by the admin The slip on rockers are slightly oversized so they can go over the existing panel. Cutting pieces out and trying to fit in with the original may not match up.
