Description

This 2007-2013 Chevy Silverado Upper Rear Wheel Arch, Driver Side fits 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 Chevy trucks with fleetside beds.

The rear wheel openings on your vehicle are constantly sprayed with salt and road debris as you drive. There’s a good chance that mud is getting stuck up in there as well. It’s only a matter of time before the mix of water, salt, and mud causes corrosion to form. Before you know it, you see the dreaded paint bubbles starting to form around the lip of the wheel arch. The good news is that if you catch it in time, you can sometimes replace just the area of the arch that’s rusting out. If paint is already falling off, and you’re able to poke your finger through the side of your vehicle, you may need to replace the entire wheel arch and possibly the inner wheelhouse. Whether the rear wheel arch opening on your Chevy Silverado is just starting to bubble, or is completely rusted out, we have the wheel arch repair panels to help you fix your rust problem.

All of our wheel arch patch panels are constructed of heavy gauge stamped steel that meets or exceeds the thickness of the original body panel that it’s replacing. The stamping process starts with a 3D scan of an OEM part, which means that these aftermarket panels will be an exact match to the original part’s shape. Since the panels are an exact match, the old panel will need to be cut out so that the new one can be welded in its place.

For most trucks, if you’re not as worried about the appearance, you can usually slip these arches over top of your existing panel and secure them with an adhesive like Silaprene. If doing this, we still highly recommend cutting out as much of the rust as possible, and sealing the rusted area with a rust-inhibiting paint, like ZeroRust, prior to installing the new arch.

Each panel has an EDP coating for additional corrosion protection. The e-coating leaves a black finish that can be scuffed and painted over. For best finishing results we recommend scuffing the e-coat, priming, and then top coating with an automotive grade paint.

Whether you need to replace the whole wheel arch or just a portion of it, we have the parts that you’re looking for. Replace your rusted wheel arch by ordering this 2007-2013 Chevy Silverado Upper Rear Wheel Arch, Driver Side from Raybuck Auto Body Parts today.
