Cold roll sheet metal is commonly used for general automotive body repair work. It offers good formability as compared to hot rolled steel and is still relatively high in strength. These 22 gauge sheets can be used for body repair ranging from door skins and cab corners to floor patches and bedside patches. These sheets are not recommended for any supporting areas, such as body supports, frame rails, etc.
