There was a mid-year change in 1951 to the doors of this truck. Early 1951 models did not have wing vent windows, and they had exterior door handles that turned down. If your door has wing vent windows, you’ll want 0846-155

Replace your GM pickup truck’s door shell with this part, manufactured to fit model years 1947 to 1950, and 1951 GM pickup trucks without vent windows.

Thick stamped steel and 3D precision-manufacturing give this door shell excellent fitment without the quality issues associated with lower-end alternatives, or the expense of buying NOS parts.

For corrosion resistance, this panel utilizes EDP to keep the piece from rusting until it can be painted. You’ll have the ability to scuff, prime and paint it to your exact specifications.

When replacing a lower door skin you should re-pinch the panel’s edge around the door shell using a door skin hammer, but when you buy the full door shell you can skip this step. We recommend applying a cavity wax or inner panel rustproofing material as sealant after installation.
