This isn’t just a seat cover, it’s a true upholstery kit that you can install yourself. This ready-to-install kit is designed specifically for your factory original frame and is not a universal cover. It is made of the highest quality, auto-rated materials and will completely replace, not cover, your existing upholstery. Open Back – This is suitable for standard cab pickups where you will not see the rear of the seat. As it sounds, the seat cover wraps around the edges of the seat, but the majority of the seat back is exposed

This is the second kit I have purchased. One for a 51 F1 and now one for a 60 f100. I call them kits instead of covers because these are more than simple covers. They act as an upholstery kit. They are custom made and fit factory seats amazingly well. Perfect solution for a garage builder like myself. Highly recommend.

The seat cover fit so tightly that I was unable to have any padding over the springs, other than the cover itself. While trying to use the original padding underneath, it became so tight that it ripped the seams off the cover. I stapled it together with the included staples and put it on anyway and figure it’s slightly better than having bought a regular seat cover. I paid the extra money for a reupholstery kit, foam padding, but there’s no way that it would fit underneath the cover. The cover itself looks good, but it wasn’t nearly as good as paying somebody to just do a professional reupholstery job. Nonetheless, it looks better than buying a cover from Walmart.
