    Loop is the material 

    Pile Height: The individual loops are approximately .2" (about 5mm) high.

    Total Mat Thickness: When including the backing, the mat is roughly 1/4" thick.

    Material Weight: It typically features a face weight of 20 ounces per square yard.

    Construction: It is tufted to a 1/8 gauge, meaning the rows of loops are very dense to resist crushing and wear.

    Authenticity: Loop was the standard factory flooring for most American vehicles from the mid-1950s through the early 1970s.
