    Molding Clips: The main body of the trim is held by several metal or plastic clips that are spaced along the length of the rocker panel. These clips are typically screwed into the rocker panel first.Top Hook & Bottom Snap: The molding "hooks" onto the top edge of these clips. You then apply pressure to the bottom of the molding to snap it over the bottom tab of the clip.End Screws: Usually, there are small stainless steel screws at each end of the molding (inside the wheel well lip) to prevent the trim from sliding forward or backward.
