Description

If the seat cover in your Dodge pickup is ripped or worn, order this 1962-1969 Dodge Pickup Bench Seat Cover to make it look new again. This isn’t just a seat cover, it’s a true upholstery kit that you can install yourself. This ready-to-install kit is designed specifically for your factory original frame and is not a universal cover. It is made of the highest quality, auto-rated materials and will completely replace, not cover, your existing upholstery. With it’s fully foamed back, this kit will help in restoring your auto interior to a comfortable and clean new look while saving you hundreds of dollars. Each kit includes installation directions, and the hog rings and pliers required to secure the kit to the seat frame. The kit does not include a replacement seat pad. If you need to replace the original seat foam, please see our seat foam repair kits. Each kit is custom made in the U.S.A., based on your selections, and is shipped directly from the manufacturer to you in approximately 4-5 weeks.

Unless otherwise noted, this style fits bench seats without headrests. For any non-bench seat, or seat with a headrest, please see individual product description for available options.

This cover comes as an:

  • Open Back – This is suitable for standard cab pickups where you will not see the rear of the seat. As it sounds, the seat cover wraps around the edges of the seat, but the majority of the seat back is exposed.

If you would like additional material, please see our seat cover material by the yard.

Very good quality materials and perfect fit and looks great. My only gripe is in the rear corners at the back of the seat bottom they should have added extra material for a more solid attachment.

I have done several seats before on cars and this was my first for a truck and it went on pretty easy the stitching looks great. I use a 1 inch foam and that seems to be enough for a comfy fit. I chose the black due to the raybuck turquoise color was different from Dodge Dessert turquoise but all in all very happy

seat bottom fit great no issue— seat back had a issue – top and side were great; however when wrapping the underside the fabric came up short by around 2.5 inches, there was enough to cover the front side of the seat and start under, but were it attached to frame was short by around 2.5 inch. Over come by using light wire (.28 gauge) to attach to back attachment points- this may be because of “custom” cab seat in a 1970. Otherwise overall good look and fit

Thanks, I’m looking for a cover for the bench in my ’67 Sweptline. Yep, my local shop wants $650-$700 for the job. Did you replace any foam when you did the job? Any other advice for the job?

I installed this style bench seat cover on my 65 Dodge seat. I had never done anything like this before, but it turned out really good. I used the 2″ foam kit on the seat bottom, but I went out and bought some burlap to as a base for the seat back to protect the cover from the springs. It all installed pretty easily, I did seem to have a little extra material in the top corners that I had to figure out how to tighten up, but all in all it looks great.

A We do not have confirmation of this fitting a 1970.
  4. I have a 1971 D100 with a sweptline family body style, the last year. Your coverage indicates the kit stops at 1969 then picks back up with product offering 1972. one of the reviews of the product indicates a 1970 had used the kit and worked well on the bench but not so well on the back. do you have an offering that handles 1971.
