I bought these beltline weatherstrips (dew wipes) for use when converting my 1985 Ranger to have vent windows. I sourced the glass from a junk yard, but new weatherstripping components are mandatory because the originals all break apart if you disturb them (also did window channels at the same time).
The dew wipes/beltlines fit correctly and seem to maintain contact with the glass, as they’re supposed to. Installation is fairly simple on these vehicles as the whole piece just clips in place.
