All of our replacement floor panels are stamped steel. The stamping process starts with a 3D scan of an OEM part which produces an OEM-like fitment. The old panel will need to be cut out so that the new one can be welded in its place.
Each panel has a protective (EDP, Galvanized, etc.) coating for additional corrosion protection. The e-coating leaves a black finish that can be scuffed and painted over. For best finishing results we recommend scuffing the e-coat, priming, and then top coating with an automotive grade paint.

ordered this panel thru raybuck’s, it came in with a manufacturer’s defect. I talked with Walt at customer service about the defect and they he was willing to return the part for replacement. I decided to keep the part and repair the damage myself since it was just going in a beat-around truck i was repairing. The part was an exact replacement for mu rusted out section of floor pan, and is going to work great

Hi Chuck, nice to see someone has reviewed this panel. I need to replace the drivers side panel in my ’86 and have some questions if you would be so kind to answer them. Does this panel stretch all the way to the firewall seam and out to the door jam? What are the holes in the panel designed for? Thanks for any info you can provide.
