All of our replacement floor panels are stamped steel. The stamping process starts with a 3D scan of an OEM part which produces an OEM-like fitment. The old panel will need to be cut out so that the new one can be welded in its place.
Each panel has a protective (EDP, Galvanized, etc.) coating for additional corrosion protection. The e-coating leaves a black finish that can be scuffed and painted over. For best finishing results we recommend scuffing the e-coat, priming, and then top coating with an automotive grade paint.

I purchased both the front and rear driver’s side pans for my ’89 Cherokee. These pans live up to the description provided by Raybuck, they are of good quality, and fit nicely in the area they are meant to replace. Don’t forget though, that these vehicles are unibodies, and they body does flex somewhat over time. Prep work is key to insuring a great fit. Don’t forget, it’s not the pans, it’s the condition of your Jeep. If you take the time and repair and prepare the areas where these pans go, they are definitely first rate.
