I’ve had two tanks rush out on my 1995 F150 XL 8 ft bed 2wd. The rear rusted near the seam and I replaced it with a steel one. Now my front tank rusted at the front seam. So I replaced it with this one. The extra money ensures I will never have to replace the tank again, even though it’s an easy project. Otherwise, drop the old steel tank, swap your pump into the plastic tank (directions provided on the tank), and install the plastic tank. Done!?

Perfect fit and no more rust. Mine had rust inside, looked new outside. Have a 97 f350 psd c.c. And it fit. Don’t forget a ground wire.

The fuel pump assembly installed easily, the tank fit perfectly in place of the original. It is made of a thick, tough poly material.
