Description

1987-1996 Ford F-Series Pickup/Bronco (And 97-98 Old Body Style F-150/F250) Upper Rear Wheel Arch, Driver Side

1987-1996 Bronco Upper Rear Wheel Arch Driver Side

***Not For Stepside/Flareside/Dually***
This 1987-1996 Ford Pickup/Bronco Upper Rear Wheel Arch Driver Side fits 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996 Ford Bronco and Pickup Trucks. Also fits 1997 and 1998 old body style trucks.

The rear wheel openings on your vehicle are constantly sprayed with salt and road debris as you drive. There’s a good chance that mud is getting stuck up in there as well. It’s only a matter of time before the mix of water, salt, and mud causes corrosion to form. Before you know it, you see the dreaded paint bubbles starting to form around the lip of the wheel arch. The good news is that if you catch it in time, you can sometimes replace just the area of the arch that’s rusting out. If paint is already falling off, and you’re able to poke your finger through the side of your vehicle, you may need to replace the entire wheel arch and possibly the inner wheelhouse. Whether the rear wheel opening on your vehicle is just starting to bubble, or is completely rusted out, we have the wheel arch repair panels to help you fix your rust problem.

All of our wheel arch patch panels are stamped steel. The stamping process starts with a 3D scan of an OEM part which produces an OEM-like fitment. The old panel will need to be cut out so that the new one can be welded in its place.

For most trucks, if you’re not as worried about the appearance, you can usually slip these arches over top of your existing panel and secure them with an adhesive like Silaprene. If doing this, we still highly recommend cutting out as much of the rust as possible, and sealing the rusted area with a rust-inhibiting paint, like ZeroRust, prior to installing the new arch.

Each panel has a protective (EDP, Galvanized, etc.) coating for additional corrosion protection. The e-coating leaves a black finish that can be scuffed and painted over. For best finishing results we recommend scuffing the e-coat, priming, and then top coating with an automotive grade paint.

Whether you need to replace the whole wheel arch or just a portion of it, we have the parts that you’re looking for. Replace your rusted wheel arch by ordering this 1987-1996 Ford Pickup/Bronco Upper Rear Wheel Arch Driver Side from Raybuck Auto Body Parts today.

I ordered these repair panels for my 89 bronco. Perfect fit. As heavy or heavier gauge metal than oem. Packaged pretty well for shipping no scratches or dings. Will definitely order again for my 93 F150.

Panels were safely wrapped for shipping and arrived sooner than expected. Have not yet welded them in but the steel is factory thickness and should weld in nicely. And thank you for the sticker!

Fits well. Made in Taiwan I think, the metal is thick enough you can actually spot weld it without completely melting it through. Everything else seems thinner and harder to work. Great buy. I got a bunch of other pieces too.

A I can't be 100% sure but I would say around 19 guage steel. I installed these by MIG weld using a stich weld after cutting off the top right angles on the tops of the panel. It was used on my 1993 Ford F-150. I am very, very happy with the quality of the stell. I used 3M under coat on the backside after installation. Great product for the price.
A I aggree with the other guy that answered your question . I installed it the same way he did and it worked perfect. I use on a 89 f250. I would by it again.
