This 34 gallon polyethylene fuel tank fits 1988-1996 Chevy/GMC Full Size Pickup with gasoline engine and side tank inside of frame. The fuel tank measures aproximately 61″ long and has a built in fuel bowl. Includes lock ring and O-ring. Does not replace 25 gallon tank. Tank also fits 1988-2000 34 gallon side tank with diesel engine.  *** Does not work with 1 ton trucks due to clearance issues.

    drop shipped from out west ,pittsburgh is only 30 minutes away from our shop.thats the 1st negative,(falsely advertised as in Pitt.Pa.)craftsmanship is kinda crude looking,does NOT hold 34 gallons ,only 29, use 2 drops of super glue to hold the retainer foam down or it will walk around on you. you need to bend one tab and remove from fuel pump to allow proper holdown. reviews within a few days to me are nonsense .it doesnt allow enough time for testing and durability..but i will damned if i ever install another steel tank.buy/make new lines and filters along with a lifetime warranty carquest pump… it shouldnt bite you down the road. do it once -do it RAYBUCK

    2. Will this work on a 1998 K2500 GMC standard cab pickup with a 350 gas engine with a 34 gallon tank? This pickup has a plastic pan that the oem steel tank sits in, does that plastic tank require this pan to be used and if not are new straps required?

    A We do not have any confirmation that this will work for a 1998 gas engine at this time.
