Ram Air Ducts are non-functional

This wide body ram air style cowl induction style hood fits 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998 Chevy Pickup Truck and 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999 Chevy Blazer/Suburban/Tahoe/Yukon.

All of our hoods are made of high-quality stamped steel. They come with an EDP coating, which is what is shown in the picture, and their mounting holes accept factory springs and latches.

Unless otherwise noted, all cowl hoods have an approximate 2″ cowl height.

    …i got the hood in good order, no damage…i had it painted to match the tahoe paint…it looks real good and like none other…the only problem i see that maybe be in the future is the plastic inserts…i’d really like to have an extra pair, just in case the ones installed crack out…the hood fit exactly as planned…nice unit…

    Do you have any pictures of the under side of the hood? I’m trying to gain an extra 2” of space in the engine compartment but I’m concerned that the X bracing that comes under the OEM hood is still there under the cowl.

    Sorry, we do not have any under side photos of this hood, and the hood is currently out of stock. I believe that the X bracing is also under this hood, though.
