This 1988-1998 Chevy or GMC C/K Pickup Outer Cab Floor (w/Backing Plate) Driver Side fits 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998 Chevy or GMC Pickup Truck.

Most likely you’re looking at this page because the floors in your vehicle were feeling soft, and when you lifted the flooring you noticed that it was the only thing keeping your feet from hitting the ground. Floor pans take a beating from the elements, and tend to trap moisture coming up from the ground as well as moisture dripping off of your boots. The good news is that we have a wide selection of replacement floor panels to help you fix your ride.

All of our replacement floor panels are stamped steel. The stamping process starts with a 3D scan of an OEM part which produces an OEM-like fitment. The old panel will need to be cut out so that the new one can be welded in its place.

Each panel has a protective (EDP, Galvanized, etc.) coating for additional corrosion protection. The e-coating leaves a black finish that can be scuffed and painted over. For best finishing results we recommend scuffing the e-coat, priming, and then top coating with an automotive grade paint.

    The fit and quality of this part is amazing ! On April 17th 2023 I submitted a review stating that this part did not fit my 1988 C1500, this was a complete error made by me. After rechecking and correct measuring it fit perfectly . Please don’t hesitate to use this part or any other related parts, the quality is outstanding.

    Unfortunately this panel did not fit my 88 c1500 whats strange is that it is a perfect match for my 91 c1500. 88 was the first year for the body style so maybe that is the reason. Very high quality pasts!

    The panel fits the vehicle nicely. I cut out the old rusted metal and welded this in it’s place. After some seam sealer and paint it looks like a new floor.

    Answered by the admin It's not uncommon, more common on Ford, for bolts to cut their own threads when they're installed but I'm not certain that is the case here. I just don't know. We can't look at an original truck because the seatbelts would have already been installed so the hole is 100% going to look threaded. The manufacturer even checked multiple lots of these going back a couple years and also inspected the 0852-223, which has the same lug for the seatbelt bolt, and NONE of them are threaded. The lug looks like what's used for self-tapping bolts.

    Answered by the admin Unfortunately no, to do the full floor area try -0852-227 , this piece will not go as far back as the 0852-225 but it will cover the whole area across. I guess it depends on what you need.

    A have to cut out old one leaving enough to have new one overlap and weld in
