Purchase a 1988-1998 GM C/K Pickup Rocker Panel”Slip-on”, Driver Side from Raybuck
This panel fits regular and extended cab pickups. For extended cab pickups, this rocker panel only covers the door opening area. The area from the door back is considered the cab corner, and is part 0852-117.
This”Slip-on”rocker panel fits 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998 Chevy and GMC C/K trucks.
Rocker panels take a beating from the elements and road debris. They are some of the first body panels on your vehicle to start showing signs of wear, and will usually be one of the first panels to rust out. If you’re thinking “I’d rather fix my rust than buy a new vehicle”, you’ve come to the right place.
All of our rocker panels are stamped steel. The stamping process starts with a 3D scan of an OEM part which produces an OEM-like fitment. The old panel will need to be cut out so that the new one can be welded in its place. The exception to this is”Slip-on”panels. Any panel labeled as “Slip-on” can be placed over top of the original panel, and secured with an adhesive, like Silaprene, rivets, welded, etc.
Each panel is also e-coated for additional corrosion protection. The e-coating leaves a black finish that can be scuffed and painted over.

Easy fit, cut out the rust, primer, paint let dry. Slip on patch panel, put in a couple of rivets to hold in place, vice grips and “c” clamp for a tight fit. Rivet for final placement, seal with a caulk gun and quality sealer. Done. I did both sides in a day.

I cut the rust out of the existing rocker under coated both old and new on the inside slipped on and pop rivet flange and at bottom. Body caulked seams and painted. Great fit. All done in about an hour per side.
