Raymond Prince –
We ordered and installed the replacement seat cover from Raybucks. After only 8 months after being installed, the trim piping started separating. What started out as a 1″ separation, as of today, has become over 5″. We reached out to Raybucks to see what could be done to repair/replace what I consider a defective product, and they’re response was that since the seat cover was “shipped” almost a year ago, there was nothing they could offer but to replace it at a “discount.” Why would any one pay for another seat cover that presents the same chance of being defective as the first one! I think it’s another case of poor craftsmanship and lack of customer satisfaction. I would highly discourage anyone from purchasing replacement seat covers from Raybucks.

Hi Raymond,
I reviewed your email correspondence regarding this matter. It looks like our representative responded to your email simply stating that due to the time that had elapsed since purchase our options are limited with what can be done. It looks like you didn’t respond to discuss further. We sell a lot of these upholstery kits and have installed them ourselves. I can personally say that I haven’t seen piping come apart on one of them, but there’s always a first. Based on the information that you’ve noted, though, it’s hard to say if this is a defect, a result of installation, or a result of unusual wear. Feel free to call us to discuss further.
Thanks, Steve
