    Answered by the admin Yes, this is not specific to bed size, it is a patch panel.
    2. How are these fastened to the existing bed and how much overlap to "good" bed material is recommended? Weld? Sheet metal screw? Pop-rivet? Adhesive?

    Answered by the admin Yes, all those methods can work in a simple attachment. However the cleanest look when you've completed the project would be accomplished by welding it. Typically the bad parts are cut out and this is cut to fit the gap.
