This 2002-2010 Ford Explorer OE Style Rocker Panel, Driver’s Side fits 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005,2006,2007,2008,2009,2010 Ford or Mercury Explorer, Mountaineer.

Rocker panels take a beating from the elements and road debris. They are some of the first body panels on your vehicle to start showing signs of wear, and will usually be one of the first panels to rust out. If you’re thinking”I’d rather fix my rust than buy a new vehicle” you’ve come to the right place.

All of our rocker panels are stamped steel. The stamping process starts with a 3D scan of an OEM part which produces an OEM-like fitment. The old panel will need to be cut out so that the new one can be welded in its place. The exception to this is”Slip-on”panels. Any panel labeled as”Slip-on”(may be Stamped or brake-made) can be placed over top of the original panel, and secured with an adhesive like Silaprene, epoxy, rivets, welded, etc.

Each panel is has a protective (EDP, Galvanized, etc.) coating for additional corrosion protection. The e-coating leaves a black finish that can be scuffed and painted over. For best finishing results we recommend scuffing the e-coat, priming, and then top coating with an automotive grade paint.

    Fit is great. I trimmed and welded on the edge of the door sill which makes foe a seamless fix. Love getti g rid of the rust. Used on 2008 explorer and now going to use on 2010.

    Fantastic product ! Fits very well, and as a matter of fact I cheated and put them over the original steel after treating it to stop the rust. They look and function just as factory ! The doors “like” the form, and the whole project ( I did the quarters also) turned out beautifully. They are not a fit for the 06 to 10 Explorer
