This panel is actually the middle panel out of three that make up the rocker area. To date, the innermost rocker is not available in the aftermarket and thus this panel is used along with the outer rocker to form the entire rocker panel area of the cab. This quad cab inner rocker panel, driver side, fits 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 Dodge 1500 full size quad cab trucks and 2003-2009 Dodge 2500/3500 Quad cab trucks.
Rocker panels take a beating from the elements and road debris. They are some of the first body panels on your vehicle to start showing signs of wear, and will usually be one of the first panels to rust out. All of our rocker panels are stamped steel. The stamping process starts with a 3D scan of an OEM part which produces an OEM-like fitment. The old panel will need to be cut out so that the new one can be welded in its place. The exception to this is”Slip-on”panels. Any panel labeled as “Slip-on” can be placed over top of the original panel, and secured with an adhesive, like Silaprene, rivets, welded, etc.
Each panel is also e-coated for additional corrosion protection. The e-coating leaves a black finish that can be scuffed and painted over.

Shipping was fast, the packaging could have included more paper, shredded cardboard or whatever as one end of the box was ripped open by the sharp edge of two of the panels. They were undamaged, however additional handling the panels (4) may have come out. The panels were in great shape and were one gauge thicker than the originals on a 03 Ram 2500. I had to return all 4 as the oem’s were not as bad as originally thought. That process was so very easy. One phone call and one explanation and it was done. Found a shipper and off they went.
