All of our replacement floor panels are stamped steel. The stamping process starts with a 3D scan of an OEM part which produces an OEM-like fitment. The old panel will need to be cut out so that the new one can be welded in its place.
Each panel has a galvanized coating for additional corrosion protection. The coating leaves a silver finish that can be scuffed and painted over. For best finishing results we recommend scuffing , priming, and then top coating with an automotive grade paint.

While looking for a replacement for the wiring channel and portion of the floor pan, I decided to get the stamped version. Although I already mocked up my wiring channel portion with 18 gauge steel, the angles were not that close to making an excellent seal to the cab. Overall, customer service informed me that this was 18 gauge, not even close. It’s 20 gauge stamped steel. Not too thrilled about it. I can purchase 4’x10′ 18 and 16gauge steel for less and fabricate my parts.
