Description

Plastic 1/2″ Body Plugs – Box of 100
Button plug with recessed-type head. Button Plugs have recessed type heads and can be used for plugging holes in equipment made of sheet metal such as auto bodies, tanks, refrigeration units, etc. These plugs can be snapped into holes easily and are held in place by a bead until deliberately removed.

Hole Size: .50-.52″ (12.7-13.21mm)
Metal Thickness: .06-.13″ (1.52-3.3mm)

Questions and answers

    I am looking at the WF43156 Body Plugs and am thinking that if I punch a hole through the center I may be able to use these as a seal on the molding clips (reusing old clips), between the body and the nut? The clips are like those on your PART#: M3760 that have a spring and swivel clip with small bolt and nut. Are these plugs a hard plastic or do you think they would squash down when the nut and washer are tightened down on the molding clips? Or do you have a different idea for these seals?
