Used the shears to cut out a hole for a fuel pump access hole. The area was tight and starting the cus was slow because of the slight angle of the tool.

I have had a pair of these shears for over 20 yrs. these cut metal with ease, ( 18-20 gauge). I use them mostly for auto body repair, but they work great on
any job.(JUST USED THEM ON GUTTERS). then the spring snapped, not bad for 20+yrs. they still work great, but I had to buy a new pair, can’t find parts.
Raybuck has the original model j-1251 and they are great to deal with and fast shipping. I will buy from them again!!!!

i have had mine for years and the spring was always breaking , can’t find replacements anymore

Really nice set of hand shears. Does not distort metal at all, and I love the fact that you can drill a hole in the middle of a panel and start cutting from there. Thicker panels will definitely give your hand a workout.
