1955-1959 GM Pickup Inner Cab Corner, Passenger Side (2nd Series)
This passenger side inner cab corner fits 1955, 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959 Chevy and GMC 2nd Series trucks.
Cab corners get abused from the elements and road debris. The inner cab corners catch road grime and salt which, over time, causes them to rust out. Your 2nd Series truck has been around for awhile, and it’s a truck, so its body panels probably need some TLC. If you’re replacing the outer cab corner, you might as well replace the inner at the same time. From rockers, to the lower door areas, to the cab corners and floors, it’s probably getting a little soft to the touch. All of our cab corners are stamped steel. The stamping process starts with a 3D scan of an OEM part which produces an OEM-like fitment. The old panel will need to be cut out so that the new one can be welded in its place.
Each panel is e-coated (EDP) for additional corrosion protection. The e-coating leaves a black finish that can be scuffed and painted over. For best finishing results we recommend scuffing the e-coat, priming, and then top coating with an automotive grade paint.
