Description
This cab corner can either be used as a”Slip-on”or a direct replacement depending on the size of area that you need to replace/cover. If using it as a direct replacement, simply cut out the area that you need to replace and weld this in place. If using it as a”Slip-on”panel, one or both edges can be trimmed down to allow it fit over top of your existing cab corner.
This 1973-1987 GM Truck”Slip-on”Cab Corner, Driver Side fits 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987 Chevy or GMC Pickup Truck.
Cab corners get abused from the elements and road debris. They catch road grime and salt which, over time, causes them to rust out. The good news is that we carry a wide selection cab corners for Chevy trucks. And, replacing cab corners is still a heck of a lot cheaper than buying a new truck.
All of our cab corners are stamped steel. The stamping process starts with a 3D scan of an OEM part which produces an OEM-like fitment. The old panel will need to be cut out so that the new one can be welded in its place.
Each panel is e-coated (EDP) for additional corrosion protection. The e-coating leaves a black finish that can be scuffed and painted over. For best finishing results we recommend scuffing the e-coat, priming, and then top coating with an automotive grade paint.
Whether you need to replace the driver side, passenger side, or both, we have the parts that you’re looking for. Replace your rusted cab corner by ordering this 1973-1987 GM Truck Cab”Slip-on”Corner, Driver Side from Raybuck Auto Body Parts today.
