      A I bought this last year and mine did have a built in steel backing plate. It was built as well as the original and the fit was perfect.

      Answered by the admin Yes, it would be a factory replacement. You would have to reuse your original hardware.

      A As Henry Ford said - "You can have any color as long as it's black", unfortunately for this item, that statement is as true today as it was back then.
      5. Will this fit in a 1982 C/20? Wondering why you are specific about fitting half tons with little to mention of the 20's and 30's? If they are all 2wheel drive p/u truck cabs are not the parts interchangeable, assuming make model and trim are the same?

      A will fit only C or K body style, the half-ton reference was for pre-1987. 1987 a change was made on the half ton.
