If your fenders are looking a little rough, whether from rust or abuse, let us help you repair them. The fenders on your vehicle get bombarded with salt and road debris. It’s only a matter of time before they start to rust. The good news is that if you catch it in time, you can sometimes replace just the area of the fender that’s rusting out. If you’re working on a restoration project and want to replace the entire fender, though, we can still help.

All of our fender patch panels are constructed of heavy gauge stamped steel that meets or exceeds the thickness of the original body panel that it’s replacing. The stamping process starts with a 3D scan of an OEM part, which means that these aftermarket panels will be an exact match to the original part’s shape. Since the panels are an exact match, the old panel will need to be cut out so that the new one can be welded in its place.

Each panel has an EDP coating for additional corrosion protection. The e-coating leaves a black finish that can be scuffed and painted over. For best finishing results we recommend scuffing the e-coat, priming, and then top coating with an automotive grade paint.

Whether you need to replace the whole fender or just a lower portion of it, we have the parts that you’re looking for. Replace your rusted fender by ordering this 1981-1987 GM Front Fender, Driver Side from Raybuck Auto Body Parts today.

Hi Tyler, we don't list a gauge for the fenders as it varies depending on where you take the measurement. I will say that the thickness of all of our sheet metal products will match the original parts that they replace. Fitment will be as close as it's going to get. I would say these will line right up, as they should, but I build vehicles as well and I know how these things go. You can take apart an original truck, go to put it back together, and it still doesn't like up exactly.

I hear what you're saying about lack of reviews for some parts. We solicit reviews, but most customers t... Read more
