Description

This driver side cab corner fits 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra extended cab trucks.

Cab corners get abused from the elements and road debris. The cab corners on your truck catch road grime and salt which, over time, causes them to rust out. If you’re thinking “I’d rather fix my rust than buy a new vehicle”, you’ve come to the right place.

All of our cab corners are constructed of heavy gauge stamped steel that meets or exceeds the thickness of the original body panel that it’s replacing. The stamping process starts with a 3D scan of an OEM part, which means that these aftermarket panels will be an exact match to the original part’s shape. Since the panels are an exact match, the old panel will need to be cut out so that the new one can be welded in its place.

Each panel is e-coated (EDP) for additional corrosion protection. The e-coating leaves a black finish that can be scuffed and painted over.  For best results, we recommend applying a coat of primer prior to painting.

Whether you need to replace the driver side, passenger side, or both, we have the body panels that you’re looking for. Fix the rust on your cab corners by ordering this driver side 1999-2006 Chevy and GMC extended cab cab corner from Raybuck Auto Body Parts today.

Good Product - Prefer to Full Rockers for Moderate Rust RepairThis is not an easy DIY job, even if you're taking the "lipstick on a pig" approach. Having now done it with both full and slip on, I prefer the slip on unless rust has eaten the intermediate and inner rockers also. The steel is of heavier gauge than original. I was able to use the entire panel, with two minor adjustments. I cut about 3/16" off of the edge meeting the cab corner to allow room to slip front edge under the front fender. Also removed the piece with captive nuts at the latch area to allow me to keep all but the rusted lower outer 4" or so in place. After installing, I sprayed a whole can of 3m cavity wax into each side through the factory plugs and through two plugs that I added.
