Description
Order a 1999-2006 Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra/Suburban/ Yukon/ Avalanche/Tahoe Rocker Panel,”Slip-on”(4-Door Crew Cab), Driver Side from Raybuck
When selecting any part for your pickup, please make sure that you are selecting the correct cab style: Standard/Regular Cab has two doors and no rear seating area, Extended Cab has two rear suicide doors that open towards the bed of the truck and do not have exterior door handles, Crew Cab has four full doors that all open up toward the front of the truck.
This “Slip-on” rocker panel driver side fits 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra crew cab trucks as well as Suburban, Tahoe, Yukon, and Avalanche vehicles.
Rocker panels take a beating from the elements and road debris. They are some of the first body panels on your vehicle to start showing signs of wear, and will usually be one of the first panels to rust out. If you’re thinking “I’d rather fix my rust than buy a new vehicle”, you’ve come to the right place. Whether you’re looking for “Slip-on” rocker panels for your 2001 Chevy Silverado to increase its resale value or for your 1999 Chevy Silverado daily driver to keep it on the road longer, we have the panels you need.
All of our rocker panels are stamped steel. The stamping process starts with a 3D scan of an OEM part which produces an OEM-like fitment. The old panel will need to be cut out so that the new one can be welded in its place. The exception to this is “Slip-on” panels. Any panel labeled as “Slip-on” can be placed over top of the original panel, and secured with an adhesive, like Silaprene, rivets, welded, etc.
Each panel is also e-coated for additional corrosion protection. The e-coating leaves a black finish that can be scuffed and painted over.
Whether you need to replace the driver side, passenger side, or both, we have the parts that you’re looking for. Fix the rust on your rocker panels by ordering this “Slip-on” style 1999-2006 Chevy and GMC crew cab rocker panel from Raybuck Auto Body Parts today.

The material used for the rocker panels was great. I would like to comment, that maybe some installation information would have helped. What would have suggested to use to attach these panels rivets, bolts? I had to cut 1 inch off the inner flange of the threshold portion to get the panels to fit. Also the curved section of the actual rocker panel did not go around far enough to the bottom edge.

I’m first to say I have no body work experience, but with a lot of research and use of their helpful website I was able to tackle this project. I selected to use these rockers because they seemed to be thicker than all others than I could find for sale at reputable sites. They were packaged well and shipped quickly. They were of high quality and fit really well. I removed the truck doors and nerf bars to make sure that I had lots of room for replacement, but someone with more experience might could do it without removing rear door. This repair took me three weekends to complete – (one weekend per side and one for paint/final assembly). I was very meticulous with this project and it really made the truck look a lot better. You won’t be disappointed purchasing this product.

I am far from a mechanic or a Body Repair man. My avalanche was getting pretty bad on the rocker panels only with rust. I opted to purchase the more expensive ones here at Raybuck. I am glad I did. I trimmed the tops off using a hand held grinder and slipped them on. I them marked where I was going to drill holes through the slip on rocker panels. Took the panel off drilled the holes with a cordless drill slipped them back on and welded the panels on in the holes I drilled. Not alot of work but for me being inexperienced it was more than I wanted. The other side I trimmed the panel like the first one and used self tapping screws top and bottom. Worked great. Used 1000 grit sand paper, spray primer filler, paint and clear. Looks great. I am very pleased with this product. I know it will keep rusting underneath but like I said I’m no body man and I don’t care. It looks great and it 3-4 years I’ll put another pair on. Thanks for a great product.

Great price! Fast shipping! Product fit good. It did have a couple dime size dings, but my body guy said it was no big deal because he would be cutting, grinding and fixing anyways. Other than that great product!

I can only speak to the delivery and it was early. Came to my place in a couple of days and they had said a week. A friend is putting them on so I can’t speak to the product really although my guy is the one who suggested them so they must be decent at the very least and possibly awesome.

Great quality, made my repair a lot easier. Originally bought the lower priced ‘slip on’ from another source which was inferior in quality and design. I’ll not make that mistake again, always RayBuck from now on!
