Description

Order a 1999-2006 Chevy Silverado rocker panel for extended cab trucks with 3rd and 4th suicide doors, passenger side from Raybuck. Also fits 1999-2006 GMC Sierra trucks with 3rd and 4th suicide doors. On a very infrequent basis we have seen cabs that are different towards the rear. When installing this new rocker there ends up being a large gap between it and the cab corner. We have not been able to determine the rhyme or reason to this yet but will post an update once we do.

When selecting any part for your pickup, please make sure that you are selecting the correct cab style: Standard/Regular Cab has two doors and no rear seating area, Extended Cab has two rear suicide doors that open towards the bed of the truck and do not have exterior door handles, Crew Cab has four full doors that all open up toward the front of the truck.

This 1999-2006 Chevy Silverado rocker panel, passenger side fits 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra extended cab trucks with 3rd and 4th suicide doors.

Rocker panels take a beating from the elements and road debris. They are some of the first body panels on your vehicle to start showing signs of wear, and will usually be one of the first panels to rust out. If you’re thinking “I’d rather fix my rust than buy a new vehicle”, you’ve come to the right place. Whether you have a 2000 GMC Sierra that has rust holes or a 2003 Chevy Silverado that has dents and dings, this replacement panel will get your truck’s right side rocker looking like new.

All of our rocker panels are stamped steel. The stamping process starts with a 3D scan of an OEM part which produces an OEM-like fitment. The old panel will need to be cut out so that the new one can be welded in its place. The exception to this is”Slip-on”panels. Any panel labeled as “Slip-on” can be placed over top of the original panel, and secured with an adhesive, like Silaprene, rivets, welded, etc.

Each panel is also e-coated for additional corrosion protection. The e-coating leaves a black finish that can be scuffed and painted over.

Whether you need to replace the driver side, passenger side, or both, we have the parts that you’re looking for. Fix the rust on your rocker panels by ordering this 1999-2006 Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra OEM-Style rocker panel extended cab with 3rd and 4th suicide doors, passenger side from Raybuck Auto Body Parts today.

Loved the quality and thickness of the steel. I replaced both sides using Raybuck’s rocker panels, both seemed to not fit perfectly but that’s to be expected with aftermarket parts. Both had large gaps by the cab corner.

Jason, thanks for the review and info. Yes, for some reason, one in every few hundred trucks seems to have this alignment problem around the cab corners. We haven’t figured out why, but it sounds like your truck was one of these. We’re continuing to dig into this to try and figure out what the common denominator is with these trucks. Thanks

What did you do to make them work?

We have used Raybuck for all of our rocker & cab corner purchases. They are good quality, good pricing, and quick shipping.

Bought passenger and driver side rocker panels. The driver side lines up perfect, but the rear of the passenger side did not line up well at all. It has a large gap between it and the cab corner. For a 2004 Silverado 2500HD

Very surprised on how heavy of a gauge metal they use. I did receive the wrong side, but they took care of it and shipped the right one immediately and sent a call tag to pick up the wrong one.

Excellent quality product. RayBuck rocker panel is much heavier gauge metal than the factory oem panels. Stamping contour was slightly misaligned at the rear support bracing that I had to modifiy slightly.

I can’t believe how heavy this rocker is. I bought both sides and had a hard time moving the box around that they came it. Quality is right on.

I’ve bought parts from other place before but never had one as thick as this! This is a thicker gauge than what originally came on the truck. Will definitely be buying more from Raybucks.
